About Us
The Beer'd Brewing Company opened as a nano brewery in 2012 and has grown to two taprooms in southeastern Connecticut. We're a small but mighty crew who care about great beer, great people, and making every guest feel welcome.

What You'll Do

• Pour and serve our beer, and help guests find something they'll love
• Create an upbeat, welcoming taproom atmosphere
• Handle POS transactions and cash drawers
• Restock and keep merchandise displays looking sharp
• Keep the taproom clean, safe, and guest-ready
• Help out with events, private parties, and tastings
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Bar, restaurant, taproom, or other customer-facing service experience preferred
• Friendly, reliable, and great with people
• Enthusiasm for craft beer, or a real interest in learning about it
• TIPS certification, or willingness to get certified
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

Nice to Have

• Experience with Square POS
• Interest in growing your beer knowledge, including Cicerone certification

Schedule
Part-time, primarily evening and weekend shifts across both of our taprooms, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts during events.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, however employees are expected to be available during the “core” taproom hours. Flexibility is required as job duties demand.

Pay: $8.25 per hour
