Before-School Program Assistant

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during before-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and positive conduct
• Maintain a clean, organized activity space that encourages creativity and learning
• Follow first aid protocols promptly and accurately in case of minor injuries or emergencies

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Ability to complete CPR training and other, online trainings.
• Strong child supervision skills with an understanding of childhood development principles
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
• Complete a background check before starting work

Pay: $15.00 - $18.30 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 16.0 per week
