Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution
• Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation
• Support heavy lifting tasks and material handling to ensure efficient workflow on-site
• Follow safety protocols including power tool safety procedures and proper handling of wood construction materials
• Aid in the installation of doors, windows, trim carpentry elements, and other fixtures
• Contribute to remodeling projects by assisting with demolition, restoration work, and site cleanup

Experience

• No prior professional experience required; however, construction estimating knowledge or previous hands-on work in carpentry is a plus
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous
• Basic understanding of woodworking machines and hand tools preferred
• Experience in residential carpentry or handyman roles will be highly regarded
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices and power tool operation is beneficial
• Prior involvement in projects such as flooring installation or siding work can enhance your application
• Enthusiasm for learning new skills within the construction industry is essential
