Beginning Tumbling Instructor for teens + kids

Bloom Dance Academy is looking for a positive, enthusiastic Acro / Tumbling Instructor to join our growing team for the 2026–2027 season!

We’re searching for someone who loves helping dancers build strength, confidence, and safe tumbling skills in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging acro and tumbling classes for a variety of ages and skill levels, primarily beginning to intermediate tumbling.
• Create lesson plans that emphasize proper technique, strength, flexibility, and safe skill progression.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels encouraged and successful.
• Communicate professionally with studio staff and families.
• Prepare students for performances and the annual recital.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching acro and/or tumbling.
• Strong knowledge of proper spotting techniques and skill progressions.
• Passion for working with children and helping dancers grow.
• Reliable, professional, and positive attitude.
• Current first aid/CPR certification is a plus.
• Background check required.
