Behavior Technician (BT) – EIDBI Level 2

Job Summary

Unity Center LLC is hiring an EIDBI Level 2 Behavior Technician to provide in-person services to children with autism and related conditions in our center and in their homes. Working under the direction of our QSP/BCBA, you will help learners build communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized ABA treatment plans.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, patient, and willing to learn and apply feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one services following each learner’s treatment plan and the QSP/BCBA’s guidance.
• Help learners develop communication, play, social, and daily living skills, including toileting, dressing, and feeding when included in their treatment plan.
• Collect accurate data in real time during sessions.
• Complete clear, accurate session notes on the same day services are provided.
• Use approved teaching and behavior support strategies that respect each learner’s safety and dignity.
• Communicate progress, concerns, and barriers to the clinical team.
• Participate in required training, supervision, and team meetings.
• Maintain reliable attendance and communicate scheduling changes promptly.
• Protect client confidentiality and follow agency policies and professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Must meet Minnesota EIDBI Level 2 provider qualifications; eligibility will be reviewed during hiring.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• ABA experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and apply supervisor feedback.
• Comfortable providing services in both center and home settings.
• Able to complete required training and background screening.

Work Setting

This is an in-person position providing center-based and in-home services.

Pay: $21.70 - $24.16 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
