Behavior Technician (BT)/ Registered Behavior Technician

At IzaCare, we provide supportive services for individuals with special needs. We provide direct behavioral treatment in the home environment in the Inland Empire, Los Angeles, and Pasadena areas.

Responsibilities

• Teach communication, social, and self-care skills to children ages 2 and up
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
• Implement behavioral procedures for the acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors
• Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check and Live Scan
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Must be available to work afternoons and evenings
• Must be willing to become CPR and First Aid certified
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and move on and off the floor as needed to safely work with clients, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must demonstrate the legal right to work in the United States
