Behavior Technician

Behavior Technician (BT) – In-Home ABA
Golden State Spectrum | North Hollywood and surrounding communities

Help children build skills that make a difference in everyday life. Golden State Spectrum is seeking compassionate, dependable Behavior Technicians to provide individualized, one-on-one ABA services to children with autism in their homes.

You will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), supporting each child’s communication, social interaction, play, and daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans and teaching strategies developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Support skill development through engaging activities tailored to each child.
• Follow BCBA-directed behavior support and safety procedures.
• Collect accurate session data and complete documentation on time.
• Share observations and progress with the supervising BCBA.
• Communicate respectfully with families and maintain client confidentiality.
• Attend scheduled sessions consistently and participate in supervision and team meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow clinical instructions and document sessions accurately.
• Reliable transportation to assigned client homes.
• Ability to complete required screening and onboarding requirements.
• Experience in ABA, childcare, education, or a related field is preferred. Applicants with active RBT certification are encouraged to apply.

Work environment

This is an in-person position providing services in client homes. Assignments and scheduling depend on client needs and staff availability.
