Job Description/Requirements:

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct Applied Behavior Analysis/Verbal Behavior therapy sessions with learners in intensive teaching sessions and in the Natural Environment in the home/community setting

• Implement prescribed Behavior Intervention Plan and Individualized Treatment Plan

• Participate in lesson planning

• Participate in parent trainings, team meetings, client observations

• Organize all materials for teaching before each session

• Organize data books, take prescribed data each session and graph data daily

• Communicate regularly with the BCBA

• Keep all work areas neat, clean and organized

• Punctual for sessions and meets all deadlines for paperwork

• Attend all trainings, staff meetings, other professional workshops and charitable/ marketing events as requested by the Executive Director

Basic & Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

• Must be able to lift and carry clients with adaptive equipment

• Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

• Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

• Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with children with challenging behavior

• Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• Good communication skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• CPR/BLS Certification

• Responsible

• No criminal background

• Transportation, clean driving record, car insurance

• Highly motivated and loves children

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
