Behavior Technician

Job Summary :

Behavior Technicians work in the homes of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout the Marshfield, WI area. They will work under the direction of a Treatment Therapist to provide ABA (applied behavior analysis) to the client. Behavior Technicians are responsible for teaching communication, emotional/behavioral regulation skills, play/social skills, and daily living skills. Paid training is provided. Following the training period, sessions will be in a 1:1 setting with the client and will be scheduled for 2-3 hours at a time. This position offers the potential for advancement.

Part time opportunities available - 15-25 hours per week

Behavior Technician Responsibilities and Duties

• work with children diagnosed with autism in multiple areas of need

• take data accurately on the skills worked on during the sessions
• participate in floor time activities, physical play activities, as well as table tasks

Behavior Technician Qualifications and Skills:

Required :

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• 18 years or older
• background check
• ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and participate on floor time activities

Preferred :

• Previous experience working with children on the autism spectrum is a plus
