Behavior Technician/RBT

Job Overview:

In this role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support skill development, and assist clients with daily activities in a compassionate, structured environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to grow professionally while positively impacting the community through evidence-based practices, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans.
• Collect and record data to monitor progress and inform treatment planning.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene, to promote independence.
• Support educational and therapeutic sessions by teaching communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Maintain accurate session notes, behavioral records, and documentation in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors, families, and treatment team members to ensure consistent services and interventions.
• Create a positive, supportive, and safe environment while implementing behavior management strategies and reinforcement procedures.
• Provide services on weekdays and weekends based on client needs and availability.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication and data collection skills.
• Knowledge of documentation standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Patience, professionalism, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. RBT certification preferred.
