Behavioral Assistant

Behavioral Assistant/Wellness Coach you are expected to provide outcome-oriented interventions that are components of an approved detailed plan prepared by a licensed clinical practitioner. The position would have you assisting with behavioral needs like; anger management, depression, social skills, bullying, etc.

The services are face to face provided individually in the youth's home or community.

The goal is to assist the family and youth to develop healthy and positive coping strategies.

As a Behavioral Assistant/Wellness Coach you will be assisting with behavioral needs and are also expected to provide education about the importance of physical fitness. The position would have you exposing the youth to different outlets that would encourage total wellness. It is a plus if you have a wellness background but not a must.

Behavioral Assistant/Wellness Coach are part of a team that consist of the Family , Caremanagers, Clinicians and other community supports.

Documentation of sessions according to the Cyber system (EMR) is part of the job.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree Required (Psychology, Sociology, BSW, Communications, Health Science)
• 1 year experience in behavioral health preferred
• 1 year working with youth in related field
• Professional Liability Insurance required once position is obtained
• Experience in training/coaching children ages 5-17 preferred
• CPR Certified
• Drivers license/Vehicle/Able to travel to homes and community

Hourly pay: $28.00 to $35.00 /hour
