Behavioral Health Technician CDCA Required Join our team at Amatus Health, an integrated health system committed to helping anyone, anywhere. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals in recovery.

Responsibilities: As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will:

• Assist in the intake process and transportation needs for clients
• Answer client questions and help clients adjust to the program routine
• Observe and report to the medical staff any changes in a client's physical or mental condition
• Ensure client safety and well-being at all times
• Collaborate with the medical department to monitor patient medication and respond to patient needs

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts, nights, every other weekend

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience in Mental Health Field (or corresponding college coursework) - preferable
• Ability to keep patients safe at all times
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license
• CDCA required

Expectations:

• Establish and maintain healthy relationships with patients
• Run groups and mentor clients
• Assist with the admission process and orientation procedures
• Maintain clear communication during client admits
• Complete timely and accurate shift reports and checklists
• Facilitate orientation groups and meetings with patients
• De-escalate patient problems and ensure patient safety
