Behavioral Health Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings (home, school, clinic)
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on client progress
• Assist in the development and ongoing implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
• Support and educate families on treatment goals and strategies
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children (required)
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
• Basic understanding of ABA principles and techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working with children who may exhibit challenging behaviors
• Ability to engage in physical activity (e.g., running, implementing behavior intervention strategies)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance

Additional Requirements

• Ability to travel within Riverside County and San Bernardino County (100% travel required)
• Must pass a background check and meet all pre-employment requirements

Compensation & Benefits

• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
• Expected Hours: 10–40 hours per week

Schedule

• 4-hour shifts
• After-school and evening availability required
• Monday through Friday
• Weekends as needed
