Behavioral Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Behavioral Specialist to join our pediatric team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals earning hours toward their fieldwork requirements, particularly those pursuing or beginning a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or BACB pathway 2 coursework. The Behavioral Specialist will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support clients through behavior intervention strategies, data collection, and progress monitoring. This position is paid and ideal for individuals committed to advancing their careers in behavioral health and therapy.

Duties

• Assist in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Collect, record, and analyze data related to client behaviors to monitor progress effectively.
• Support clients during therapy sessions, encouraging positive behaviors and skill development.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
• Attend supervision meetings and training sessions as required for professional development.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards.
• Contribute to creating a supportive environment that fosters client growth and learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required; candidates must be in the process of starting or have already begun a Master’s degree in ABA or BACB pathway 2 coursework.
• Will be supervised and overseen by a BCBA, with responsibilities aligned to earning hours for fieldwork.
• Strong interest in behavioral health, therapy, or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Reliable, organized, and committed to professional growth in applied behavior analysis.
• Prior experience is not mandatory but is advantageous; training will be provided as needed.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
