Behavioral Technician

Role: Behavioral Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental or behavioral challenges in developing social and communication skills.
• Implement behavior change plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Document progress and milestones of each individual served.

Qualifications & Skills

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children in roles such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Key Duties

• Help children improve social and communication skills and manage behavioral challenges.
• Follow and apply individualized behavior plans.
• Maintain detailed documentation of progress and milestones.
