Behavioral Therapist

RiseUp ABA is a small, owner-operated ABA therapy agency serving families across the San Fernando Valley. Because we’re small, you’ll work directly with the people who make decisions on your cases — not a big corporate layer. We’re looking for a Behavioral Therapist to provide in-home ABA services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

What you’ll do:
Follow each child’s therapy plan closely and consistently. Use proven ABA techniques to encourage good behaviors and build new skills — things like rewarding positive behavior, teaching step-by-step, and breaking skills down into smaller, manageable pieces. You’ll run one-on-one sessions in the family’s home, keep track of how each session goes, stay in close touch with your Program Supervisor, and build real relationships with the families you work with.

What we need from you:
At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. A working knowledge of ABA principles (reinforcement, punishment, extinction) and common data collection methods. You’re self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Physically, the role involves sitting, kneeling, bending, and sitting/playing on the floor for extended periods, and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 40 lbs without assistance. Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort with Microsoft Office.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
