Behavioral Therapist/ABA Therapist

About the role

Better Together Early Intervention Center is seeking a full-time Behavioral Therapist/ABA Therapist to join our dynamic team in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing evidence-based Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with special needs, helping them develop essential life skills and reach their full potential.

What you'll be doing

1. Implementing ABA-based interventions and strategies to address behavioural, social, communication, and adaptive skill deficits according to client's IEP.
2. Collaborating with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to client care
3. Documenting client progress, collecting data, and adjusting treatment plans as needed
4. Participating in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities
5. Maintaining a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for clients

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Needs Education or a related field
2. Preferably minimum 1 year of experience in education field
3. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
4. Willing to engage with children
5. Excellent organizational and time management abilities
6. A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children with special needs
7. Possess own transport
