What they need
The Positive Behaviour Support Group is seeking passionate, experienced NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our team on a contract basis and deliver high-quality Positive Behaviour Support services across Australia.
We believe in creating a supportive, flexible working environment where you feel valued and empowered. As a contractor with us, you'll have full autonomy over your schedule and the clients you choose to work with - because we know the best outcomes happen when practitioners feel good in their work.
We understand that some practitioners haven't had much experience with the sub-contracting model, so we've put together a guide to provide a clear and practical overview of how the model works, what supports you'll receive, and what you can expect in terms of earnings, supervision, and caseloads: https://www.pbsg.com.au/contracting-info
What We Offer:
- Flexible work arrangements (mobile, partially remote/WFH, decide your own hours/schedule)
- Referrals, systems and invoicing support provided
- Fortnightly pay cycle
- Freedom to work with clients and communities you connect with best
- A friendly, practitioner-first culture that genuinely values your contribution
To join us, you'll need:
- At least 1 year of experience as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner with a Practitioner ID
- Core, Proficient or Advanced registration status
- Must hold Proficient level registration or above with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, OT, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Developmental Education, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals, families, and/or children with disability
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis and behaviour support planning
You'll also need to have or be willing to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC
- NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate
- Driver's Licence
- Australian Business Number (ABN) or Australian Company Number (ACN) or willingness to apply for one
- Phone, computer, and resources needed for service delivery
- Ability to maintain client records and notes
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
How to Apply:
Submit your application via Seek, including your resume and a cover letter that highlights your experience and skills in Positive Behaviour Support.
Please Note:
- This is an independent contractor position. Practitioners are responsible for managing their own tax and any relevant HECS/HELP obligations.
- As we are a sub-contracting only organisation, this role is not appropriate for entry-level practitioners or students looking for volunteer positions.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Other offers great for you!
