Duties also include maintaining accurate documentation, completing NDIS reporting requirements, and contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions. The role involves community visits, delivering training and coaching to support staff and families, and engaging in reflective practice and professional development to maintain high-quality, trauma-informed and neuroaffirming services.

- Demonstrated experience in positive behaviour support, including conducting functional behaviour assessments and developing, implementing, and reviewing behaviour support plans under the NDIS Commission framework.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and person-centred practice, with the ability to apply these principles to complex support needs and behaviours of concern.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trusting relationships, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and coach and train families and support staff.
- Competence in clinical documentation, report writing, and use of digital tools for case management, with strong organisational and time-management skills to manage a mobile and hybrid workload.
- Understanding of the NDIS, disability services, and relevant legislation, with a commitment to human rights, safeguarding, and ethical practice.
- Current driver’s licence, ability to travel for community visits in the Brisbane region, and working with children / NDIS worker screening clearances or eligibility to obtain them.
- Ongoing commitment to professional development, supervision, and reflective practice; experience in community, disability, or mental health settings is highly regarded.
