Behaviour Support Worker

Hours: 9am - 6pm, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday

You will be working with a teenager with learning disabilities and severe challenging behaviour.

You will be part of a small team working in Norwich.

You will assist in delivering evidence based therapeutic interventions developed by a multidisciplinary team. The focus first and foremost is on making the young man smile and enjoy his time with you!

* This is not a care role, though person care will be required, this is a role where you will be delivering therapeutic interventions for which you will be highly trained.

* have a minimum of 5 GCSEs, although a degree is preferred but if you meet all the other criteria make sure you apply!

* a desire to learn the most up to date evidence based and compassionate methods for reducing challenging behaviour.

We take safeguarding seriously, this post will be subject to references and an enhanced DBS check.
