About the Role

For one of our clients, a leading global pharmaceutical organization, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join a centralized Cloud Platforms team.

You will play a key role in developing, operating and continuously improving cloud platform capabilities used across multiple business domains. The team also supports modern data and AI platforms, enabling application, data and engineering teams through secure, scalable and automated cloud solutions.

Your Responsibilities

✅ Design, build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
✅ Support and operate Kubernetes environments (AKS)
✅ Develop and improve cloud automation and platform services
✅ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitHub-based workflows
✅ Troubleshoot platform-related issues and support onboarding of workloads
✅ Collaborate with developers, architects, platform teams and external partners
✅ Contribute to cloud security, governance and platform best practices

Required Skills

🔹 Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
🔹 Hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
🔹 Experience with Kubernetes, ideally AKS
🔹 Solid understanding of GitHub and CI/CD practices
🔹 Azure networking knowledge (VNets, DNS, Private Endpoints, Load Balancers, NSGs, Firewalls)
🔹 Cloud security, identity management and governance experience
🔹 Experience in cloud platform engineering and automation
🔹 Linux experience is considered a strong plus

Profile

✔️ 5+ years of experience in Cloud, Platform Engineering or DevOps roles
✔️ Able to work independently within a mature cloud platform environment
✔️ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
✔️ Comfortable working in an international and highly collaborative environment
