Bench Joiner

The Opportunity

We are a manufacturer of high specification, bespoke, certified timber fire doors and door sets. Due to ongoing growth, we need a skilled bench joiner to join our workshop team.

What You Will Do

• Manufacture doors: Fabricate timber fire doors, frames, and custom screens from technical drawings.
• Prepare components: Cut, shape and assemble hardwood and softwood materials.
• Install ironmongery/hardware: Route and fit intumescent strips, locks, hinges and vision panels.
• Operate machinery: Safely use classic workshop machinery
• Maintain quality: Ensure every product strictly meets British fire safety standards (BM Trada/Q Mark)

What We Look For

• Experience: Proven track record in bench joinery/wood working
• Fire Door Knowledge: Familiarity with fire-rated standards is preferred
• Skillset: Ability to read complex technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Tools: Ownership of standard hand tools

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
