Shepel is an established, growing team specialising in high-quality bespoke furniture and luxury cabinetry. We pride ourselves on exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a great workshop culture. Due to an expanding workload, we are looking for a skilled and passionate Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join our talented team in Evesham.

The Role

Working in our fully equipped workshop, you will be responsible for bringing technical designs to life. This is a hands-on role handling a variety of high-end, custom residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble bespoke cabinets, kitchens, wardrobes, and custom furniture pieces to an exceptional finish.
• Read and accurately interpret production methods and technical drawings.
• Safely operate standard workshop machinery and use a wide range of traditional hand tools.
• Select and prepare timber, veneers, and sheet materials.
• Collaborate with the wider production team to ensure deadlines are met to our high standards.

About You

We are looking for a reliable team player who takes immense pride in their work and has a strong eye for detail.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or Bench Joiner.
• Strong competency and confidence operating workshop machinery safely.
• Excellent hand tool skills for high-quality assembly and finishing.
• Strong knowledge of furniture construction techniques, materials, and hardware.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative workshop team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Friday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm

Pay: £13.50-£21.00 per hour
