## The Role

We're looking for a Bending Machine Operator to join our production team. You'll operate press brake / bending machines to form sheet metal parts to precise specifications, playing a hands-on role in producing components used in safety-critical products.

## What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC or manual press brake/bending machines according to job specifications and drawings

• Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and bending sequences

• Select and install correct tooling (dies and punches) for each job

• Measure and inspect bent parts using tools such as calipers, protractors, and angle gauges to ensure accuracy and tolerance compliance

• Adjust machine settings to correct defects such as spring-back, wrong angles, or dimensional errors

• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning, and report faults or malfunctions promptly

• Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S practices

• Record production output and quality checks as required

## What We're Looking For

• SPM / vocational certificate or equivalent; formal training in machine operation is a plus but not mandatory

• Prior experience operating bending machines or press brakes in a sheet metal or metal fabrication environment preferred

• Ability to read technical drawings and basic measurements

• Comfortable using precision measuring tools (calipers, protractors, etc.)

• Physically fit and able to work on your feet, lift moderate loads, and work in a factory environment

• Willingness to work shifts/overtime as needed based on production demand

• Good attention to detail, discipline, and a strong safety mindset

• Basic communication in Malay and/or English
