What they need
About the role
Operate aluminium bending machines to produce components according to engineering drawings and project specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Set up bending machines, including tooling, alignment, and adjustments, to achieve required bend angles
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, bending instructions, and work orders accurately
- Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and surface finish are met
- Record and update daily production data, including output, non-conformances, and downtime
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and assist in troubleshooting bending equipment
- Safely handle and transport aluminium sheets/panels before and after bending operations
- Assist supervisors and QA/QC team in resolving technical or quality issues related to bending processes
About you
- Minimum SPM / Skills Certificate (e.g. SKM / ILP / GiatMARA / Polytechnic)
- At least 3 years of experience operating bending machines is an advantage
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Disciplined, responsible, and able to work well in a team
