Bending Setter/ Bending Supervisor

Job Description – Bending Setter

1. Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate heavy-duty hydraulic press brake and plate bending machines for thick plate fabrication.

2. Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, bend angles, dimensions, and tolerances.

3. Tooling & Parameter Setting: Select suitable punches, dies, and bending tools; set machine parameters according to plate thickness, material grade, and bending requirements.

4. Quality Inspection: Verify bend angles, dimensions, bend radius, and component alignment to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.

5. Material Handling & Safety: Coordinate heavy plate loading and unloading using cranes and lifting equipment, follow safe operating procedures, and minimize material damage and rework.
