What they need
Company Overview
Correct Rx is an institutional pharmacy distinguished by a clinical pharmacy model that extends beyond traditional prescription dispensing. We collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support comprehensive, patient-centered care, optimize medication therapy, improve clinical outcomes, and promote cost-effective treatment decisions. Our approach focuses on managing the patient’s overall health and medication needs rather than simply filling prescriptions.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Benefits Administrator to oversee the day-to-day administrative tasks, data management, and employee communications that support the efficient operation of our benefits and payroll processes. This role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, timely follow-through, and responsive employee support. The ideal candidate will ensure that administrative processes are handled consistently and efficiently, serving as a reliable resource for employee inquiries while supporting established HR policies and procedures, rather than developing HR policy or strategy.
Responsibilities
- Guide employees through the Employee Handbook, providing explanations and responding to routine questions regarding its contents.
- Identify unclear or ambiguous Employee Handbook provisions and coordinate with the legal team to obtain clarification and ensure accurate interpretation.
- Monitor and manage a shared email inbox, providing timely responses to employee inquiries regarding benefits and payroll.
- Coordinate all administrative aspects of annual benefits Open Enrollment, including scheduling, employee communications, and tracking enrollment submissions.
- Assist employees with routine 401(k) inquiries and related administrative tasks, including enrollment documentation and beneficiary updates.
- Administer employee onboarding and separation processes, ensuring required documentation, checklists, and procedural steps are completed accurately and on time.
- Compile, organize, and maintain employee data required for insurance and benefits census reporting.
- Maintain accurate employee rosters and monitor employment status changes, including new hires, terminations, and benefits eligibility dates.
- Track newly eligible employees and ensure timely notification, enrollment guidance, and access to applicable health, life, and 401(k) benefits within established enrollment deadlines.
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles involving substantial documentation and record-keeping preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and other standard office software.
- Demonstrated ability to follow established procedures, maintain accurate records, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
If you thrive in a fast-paced setting that values accuracy, confidentiality, and proactive service delivery, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact. This role is essential to ensuring our benefits programs run smoothly while complying with all legal standards.
