Job Description

• Provide healthcare support and program management as first point of contact for healthcare escalations to the benefits COE team.
• Serve as a Tier 2 escalation resource for employee benefits inquiries beyond standard call center support and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Support Open Enrollment readiness and administration within bswift and Emma, and review healthcare communications and content.
• Support compliance administration and special projects related to healthcare benefits, vendor implementations, and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor healthcare cases and channels (Slack benefits-talk, ServiceNow, bswift, ERC, webinar chat), identify trending issues, research concerns, and resolve cases with employees, vendors, and COE.
• Triage and resolve healthcare ServiceNow tickets; escalate administration service issues to Rewards Ops or COE as needed.
• Coordinate with health plan liaisons and vendors to support issue resolution and act as escalation point for complex inquiries.
• Review and update enrollment requirements, plan details, and employee-facing content within bswift and Emma; conduct enrollment testing and final validation following vendor and Rewards Operations sign-off.
• Review healthcare-related communications and materials (Open Enrollment materials, website updates, Rewards Guides, videos, PDFs, vendor communications, mailers, microsites) to ensure accuracy and alignment.
• Liaise with internal and external teams for healthcare events (Open Enrollment fairs, pop-ups), coordinate vendor participation, logistics, scheduling, promotion, and collateral review.
• Support compliance activities including review of SBCs, plan booklets, Schedules of Benefits, tracking/administration for COBRA, non-discrimination testing, PCORI fees, and other regulatory notices.
• Contribute to special projects in partnership with Sr. program managers, including RFPs, new vendor or program implementations, survey submissions, wellbeing data support, and acquired company medical plan transitions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of directly applicable US health and welfare benefits experience.
• Knowledge of ERISA and other applicable federal, state, and local benefits laws.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to manage escalations and identify root causes.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders such as Employee Resource Center (ERC), payroll, communications, and vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required (may be substituted by additional years of experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) is a plus.

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $56.34/hour
