You don't need a background in benefits or insurance to build a career in employee benefits and insurance.

At Shield Health 360, we're looking for driven, relationship-focused people who want to learn how to meaningfully help businesses build better benefits and financial strategies.

You might come from sales, hospitality, healthcare, real estate, construction, recruiting, service, management, finance--or an entirely different industry. We want you! And we'll teach you.

We're not a traditional benefits agency. Traditional benefits conversations typically start and end with insurance. Ours doesn't. We take a 360 degree approach to employer solutions. Our advisors learn how to look at the business as a whole and identify solutions that create meaningful value for both the employer and its employees. This means you aren't here to sell a product; you're learning how to have a bigger conversation and identify how we can help in all areas.

We're not here to teach you how to sell a policy. We're here to teach you how to advise a business. We provide:

• Complete education & training through Shield Advisor Academy
• Licensing support for eligible candidates
• Access to Shield's employer benefits product ecosystem
• Leads and CRM technology
• Office space
• Back-office support
• Ongoing coaching and development

We provide the infrastructure. You build the business.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are:

• Ready for a career change or new opportunity
• Entrepreneurial, motivated, and coachable
• Comfortable building relationships and talking with business professionals
• Interested in solving problems—not just selling products
• Driven to build their own client base and book of business
• Willingness to obtain their license within 30 days of hire (company paid) or active Florida Health & Life insurance license
• Moderately tech savvy
• Comfortable working in a commission-based environment as 1099 insurance agent

No previous benefits experience is required.

This is a 1099 independent advisor opportunity where you'll build relationships with employers and business leaders while developing your own book of business with Shield's education, products, technology, and support behind you.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
