Benefits Specialist

We are seeking motivated individuals to assist people who have expressed interest in learning more about available benefit options. In this role, you will communicate with prospective clients remotely, learn about their needs, explain general benefit information, and guide them through the appropriate next steps.

Previous industry experience is not necessary. New team members receive training, communication scripts, established processes, and continued support. This position may be a strong fit for someone who is dependable, receptive to coaching, confident communicating with others, and interested in strengthening their professional and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities:

Connect with individuals who have requested information about benefit options

Use provided training materials, scripts, and communication procedures

Ask relevant questions to better understand individual needs

Explain general information regarding available options

Arrange follow-up conversations when needed

Keep organized and accurate records of conversations and activity

Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and team development

Qualifications:

Comfortable communicating with individuals over the phone or virtually

Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Dependable and capable of working effectively in a remote environment

Willing to receive coaching and learn new processes

Previous customer service, sales, or phone-based experience is beneficial but not required

Must complete any applicable licensing requirements before conducting activities that require a license

Compensation:

This is an independent contractor position with performance-based compensation. Individual earnings may vary depending on activity level, performance, and completed business. Additional information regarding the compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process.
