We are seeking an ambitious and experienced energy professional to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of energy assessment technology.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity for a qualified Domestic BER Assessor looking to combine consultancy with software development and innovation.

Or

A recent graduate in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Technology, Building Surveying, Sustainable Energy, or a related built environment discipline who is willing to complete the required BER Assessor training.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future direction of a rapidly growing Irish technology company operating within the energy efficiency sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct residential BER assessments and building surveys.

• Test and validate BERGO software features and workflows.

• Provide practical feedback to the development team based on real-world assessment experience.

• Assist in developing digital assessment methodologies and best-practice procedures.

• Support the creation of training materials, user guides, and technical documentation.

• Participate in pilot projects and software demonstrations.

• Assist with quality assurance and data validation activities.

• Support customer onboarding and user feedback collection.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BERGO's products and services.

• Represent BERGO professionally when engaging with assessors, industry stakeholders, and clients.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Domestic BER Assessor registered with SEAI, or willing and eligible to complete the required training and registration to become a Domestic BER Assessor.

• Good understanding of Irish BER methodologies.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

• Comfortable using digital tools and technology.

• Full clean driving licence

Desirable Skills

• Experience using BER survey software and digital measurement tools.

• Knowledge of building fabric, heating systems, ventilation systems, and renewable technologies.

• Experience conducting residential BER assessments.

• Experience delivering technical training or mentoring.

• Interest in software, innovation, and digital transformation.

• Experience in quality assurance or technical auditing.
