Bakery Team Member – Customer Service, Cleaning & Closing Duties

Job Type: Full-Time : Monday–Friday afternoons/evenings and SaturdaysWeekday Hours: After 2:00 PM, with shifts ending no later than 9:00 PMSaturday Hours: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

About the Position

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated team member to join our bakery! We need someone who learns quickly, shows up on time, maintains consistent attendance, and takes pride in their work.

This position requires excellent customer service, cleaning, restocking, and nightly closing duties. Our bakery can get very busy, so we need someone who can work efficiently, multitask, stay organized, and work well with a team.

We are looking for someone dependable who takes their job seriously, follows instructions, and completes their responsibilities without needing constant reminders.

Job Responsibilities

● Provide friendly, professional, and excellent customer service.

● Assist customers with purchases and answer questions.

● Keep the bakery clean, organized, and presentable throughout the day.

● Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

● Work as part of a team and communicate respectfully with coworkers.

● Restock products and supplies as needed.

● Follow cleaning procedures and maintain a sanitary work environment.

● Complete all assigned duties and follow the nightly closing checklist.

Nightly Closing Duties

Every evening, the employee is responsible for completing a closing checklist before leaving.

Closing responsibilities include:

● Sweeping and mopping the bakery floors.

● Cleaning and maintaining the bathrooms.

● Restocking products, supplies, and other necessary items.

● Cleaning counters and keeping work areas organized.

● Making sure the bakery is clean, neat, and ready for the next business day.

● Completing all items on the nightly closing checklist before clocking out.

Closing duties are an essential part of this position. We need someone who pays attention to detail, follows the checklist every night, and makes sure all responsibilities are completed properly.
