BESS Construction Manager

A leading energy infrastructure and EPC contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects

This is an exciting opportunity for a construction professional with experience managing complex energy infrastructure projects, leading field teams, coordinating subcontractors, and driving projects from mobilization through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day construction activities for utility-scale BESS projects from site mobilization through completion
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, and client stakeholders to maintain schedule and budget performance
• Oversee site logistics, construction planning, quality control, and project documentation
• Drive compliance with company safety standards, project specifications, and contractual requirements
• Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities
• Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining strong relationships with project stakeholders

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing construction projects within the energy, electrical, industrial, or infrastructure sectors
• Experience delivering utility-scale BESS, solar, substations, transmission, or other power infrastructure projects preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical construction, civil works, and equipment installation
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and lead large field teams
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and project controls
• Ability to travel extensively and support projects across the US
