DELIVERY DRIVER POSITION FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE! We are a Wine Distributor servicing North Carolina.

SALARY: $20/hr, payroll is twice monthly. Comprehensive Health Benefits program including Medical, Vision, Dental, 401-K (matching), Life Insurance and performance bonuses as eligible.

Position Summary:

The employee in this position must be dependable and be willing to work between 32-50 hours/week, Tuesday through Friday. Occasional Mondays will be required. Drivers must report to the warehouse at 6:00am each day. They will be responsible for order picking and delivery to accounts on their route assigned for the day. The employee makes sure that all orders are accurate and the deliveries on their route sheet are made in a timely manner. Must be willing to drive routes in excess of 3 hours from home base. Restocking inventory could be required occasionally.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

● Performs daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follows up with any maintenance issues.

● Follows the daily route schedule assigned in a timely manner.

● Collects all payments on applicable invoices.

● Communicates any changes or discrepancies back to manager.

● Maintains a properly cleaned vehicle, and ensures that the truck is appropriately fueled and organized for the next day's route.

● Settles up all end-of-day paperwork and procedures on a daily basis.

● Operates their vehicle in a safe and courteous manner at all times.

Qualifications:

● Must have a valid driver's license, maintain a clean driving record and pass a state mandated background check.

● Must be able to pass a drug screening before and during employment.

● Able to deal with minor customer problems in a professional manner.

● Must have reliable transportation to and from the warehouse every day

Physical Mandatory Requirements (Include but are not limited to):

● Drive a company vehicle meeting all hearing and vision requirements while also being able to climb in and out of the vehicle throughout the day to make deliveries.

● Ability to drive in excess of 3 hours to make deliveries

● Move boxes between 30-50 pounds frequently throughout the day. Stairs may be involved at the customer locations. Vehicles do not have automated lift gates.

● Must be 21+ at the time of application

Schedule:

● 8-14 hour shift

● Report to Garner warehouse promptly at 6:00am each day. Unless otherwise specified by manager.

● Overtime

● Year round work

● Potential for bonus pay

● Garner, North Carolina: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

● Must have reliable transportation to and from the warehouse every day
