Beverage Server

Job Summary

8 HORSES LOUNGE is seeking a personable and attentive Beverage Server to provide polished table and lounge service in a relaxed cocktail and wine setting. The role focuses on accurate orders, timely beverage service, guest interaction, and maintaining a comfortable atmosphere throughout each shift.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with seating and service needs.
• Take accurate orders for cocktails, wine, beverages, and small plates.
• Deliver drinks and food promptly and professionally.
• Explain beverage selections and answer customer questions.
• Coordinate orders with bartenders and kitchen staff.
• Check on guests regularly and respond to service requests.
• Process payments accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain clean and organized tables and guest areas.
• Restock glassware, napkins, menus, and service supplies.
• Follow responsible alcohol-service and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with happy-hour periods and private events.
• Communicate customer feedback or service issues to management.

Qualifications

• Previous serving, bar, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working around cocktails, wine, and food service.
• Able to remain organized during busy evening shifts.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.

About The Company

8 HORSES LOUNGE is a downtown Boise cocktail and wine lounge located beneath Fork in the historic bank-vault space at 199 North 8th Street. The lounge features handcrafted cocktails, an extensive wine selection, seasonal food, and happy-hour service. Current hours are Tuesday–Thursday 4:00 PM–10:00 PM and Friday–Saturday 4:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
