Beverage Specialist

About the role

Responsible for providing education, demonstration, and consultation related to syrup products to customers and internal teams, so that customers understand product characteristics, usage methods, product applications, and can optimize their use in various beverage needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide education to customers on proper and optimal product usage and recommend product usage according to customer needs and beverage concepts
• Explain product advantages compared to alternatives or similar products professionally
• Accompany Sales team during customer visits to provide explanations and product education, answer technical or product application questions, conduct product presentations, product tastings, and demonstrate product usage
• Serve as talent/product specialist in events, exhibitions, workshops, demos, and product promotion activities
• Conduct live demonstrations of beverage preparation using syrup products
• Provide product education and presentations to event participants and interact directly with customers/visitors to introduce products and explain their usage
• Support product launches, product sampling, and brand activation activities
• Develop and test various beverage recipes/menus using products
• Create product application recommendations for various types of beverages such as coffee, tea, mocktail, cocktail, milk-based beverages, desserts, and others according to needs
• Collect customer feedback regarding products and their applications and identify product development needs or opportunities based on visits and customer interactions

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 qualification, preferably in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, F&B, Food Technology, or related fields
• 1–2 years of experience in F&B, beverage, barista, bartender, beverage development, product specialist, or related fields
• Understanding of beverage applications and use of syrups/powders in various types of beverages, desserts, bakery
• Recipe development and product demonstration capabilities
• Communicative, confident, with strong public speaking/presentation abilities
• Able to educate and consult on products to customers
• Able to work with Sales team during customer visits
• Willing to serve as talent in events, workshops, demos, and promotion activities
• Creative, proactive, customer-oriented and results-focused
• Passion for the beverage industry and keeping up with F&B trends
• Willing to travel/conduct customer visits as needed by the company
• Must have a valid driver's license
