THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Beverage Technologist who knows how to develop new formulations, review and improve existing ones, launch into new markets.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop new flavours and product extensions from concept to launch, including benchtop samples, sensory testing, pilot runs and scale-up.
• Improve existing recipes for taste, cost, stability and ingredient quality without compromising our natural positioning.
• Work on production trials, specifications, quality checks and resolving production issues.
• Source and qualify ingredients and suppliers.
• Own product specifications, technical files and certificates of analysis, and keep documentation audit-ready.
• Make sure labels meet international and local regulations.
• Manage shelf-life and stability testing, and work with accredited labs on product analysis.
• Adapt products and labels for new markets as we expand across Europe.
• Handle quality issues and customer complaints, find the root cause and put corrective actions in place.
• Use AI tools and data to speed up formulation work, documentation and regulatory checks.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or a related field.
• You have 2+ years of experience in food or beverage product development.
• You’ve taken products from benchtop to commercial production.
• You know EU food labelling and claims rules.
• You understand HACCP, food safety systems and quality standards such as IFS, BRCGS or FSSC 22000.
• You have a good palate and enjoy running sensory panels.
• You’re organised and detail-driven. Technical specifications and regulations don’t scare you, but you also know when good enough is good enough to launch.
• You’re comfortable working in a fast-moving startup without a big R&D department behind you.

Salary: €2000-€3000 gross

Holiday: 25 days per year
