🚀 #WEAREALTIA
ALTIA is a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering advanced data-driven solutions that generate measurable impact and enable smarter decision-making. Working across international environments, we combine analytics, artificial intelligence, and business expertise to transform data into strategic value. Our mission is to help organizations evolve through innovation, scalable data platforms, and high-quality analytical solutions, fostering continuous learning, collaboration, and technological excellence.
We are looking for a Senior BI Data Engineer with extensive, high-level expertise in enterprise data warehousing, Oracle databases, ETL/ELT integration pipelines, and reporting ecosystems to join our team in supporting the evolution, maintenance, and architecture of large-scale European Commission data platforms and enterprise reporting systems (such as eGrants EDW).
The role involves designing, building, and optimizing modern Business Intelligence architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. The specialist will lead the end-to-end design and implementation of complex ETL/ELT data pipelines, dimensional models, and physical schemas (partitioning, indexing, storage strategies). Additionally, the candidate will focus on governing the BI semantic layer, building enterprise dashboards and self-service capabilities, implementing automated data quality/testing frameworks, and ensuring cost and query performance optimization across large-scale data platforms.
In close collaboration with project leads, business analysts, and cross-functional technical teams, the specialist will translate complex business needs into secure, scalable data engineering solutions. The position requires deep hands-on expertise with Oracle (including PL/SQL), SAP Business Objects (universe design and administration), SAS Data Integration, and SAP Data Services, alongside strong alignment with GDPR and data governance standards.
