BI Developer

An established international aviation group is seeking an experienced BI Developer to build and manage its group-wide business intelligence infrastructure, tools and reporting in Malta. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build and manage the group’s BI infrastructure, tools and reporting suite
• Gather reporting requests from business users and translate them into technical specifications
• Analyse product, market and share trends to build and structure data warehouse content
• Develop reporting systems that give stakeholders accessible information for decision-making
• Produce reports from warehouse data to support business performance monitoring
• Maintain data analytics platforms and keep them running reliably
• Evaluate existing BI systems and implement improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within BI models
• Deliver high-quality reports to internal customers, carrying out QA checks before release

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 4+ years’ experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
• Proven hands-on experience with QlikView and Qlik Sense
• Experience translating business requirements into technical BI solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the initiative to propose improvements
• Prior experience within the aviation or a related industry

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• €55,000 – €60,000 Gross Per Annum
