Our strategy spans AI-powered search, natural-language discovery, intelligent recommendations, richer property data and AI-assisted engineering, all underpinned by a platform built around speed, trust, quality and real-time data.

Position: BI Engineer | Analyst

🏡 About the role

We're looking for a curious, technically capable and forward-thinking BI Engineer / Analyst who is excited about the possibilities of AI, modern data modelling and intelligent analytics.

You'll join our growing Analytics team, helping us move beyond conventional reporting towards a more dynamic, accessible and AI-enabled approach to business intelligence.

We're increasingly embracing tools such as Claude and AI-assisted development, exploring how intelligent automation, modern web interfaces and well-designed data models can transform how our teams access, explore and act on information.

This isn't about replacing analytical thinking with AI. It's about combining strong data fundamentals with modern technology to deliver better insights, faster decisions and genuinely useful business solutions.

You don't need to be a Tableau expert. We're far more interested in your ability to understand data, build robust models, solve complex problems and explore new ways of presenting insights.

If you've experimented with Claude, built your own analytical tools, created web-based dashboards or used AI to accelerate your development, we'd love to hear from you.

🏡 Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Rethinking BI: Help evolve our reporting and analytics capabilities beyond traditional dashboards towards intelligent, interactive and AI-enabled experiences.
• Building strong data foundations: Design, develop and optimise data models that make complex commercial and operational data accessible, reliable and actionable.
• Embracing AI: Use tools such as Claude and other AI-assisted technologies to accelerate analysis, develop reporting solutions and explore new approaches to business intelligence.
• Creating modern data experiences: Explore opportunities to build intuitive, web-based reporting interfaces and interactive analytical tools using HTML and modern technologies.
• Unlocking commercial insights: Analyse large datasets using SQL to identify trends, opportunities and improvements across revenue, customer behaviour, pricing and operational performance.
• Driving better decisions: Work closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Technology and Operations to turn complex data into clear, meaningful recommendations.
• Experimenting and innovating: Challenge existing approaches, test new technologies and help shape how AI can be embedded into our analytics environment.
• Ensuring trust in data: Maintain high standards of data quality, consistency and accuracy, ensuring our analytics solutions are built on dependable foundations.

🏡 Skills & Experience Required

• Strong SQL skills: Confident extracting, manipulating, transforming and analysing complex datasets.
• Data modelling expertise: A solid understanding of data structures, relationships, modelling principles and how to create scalable, reliable datasets for analytics.
• AI curiosity and practical experience: Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or similar AI tools to support coding, analysis, automation or solution development.
• Technical creativity: An interest in moving beyond conventional BI platforms and exploring more flexible, intelligent ways of delivering insights.
• Analytical problem-solving: The ability to understand complex business challenges, ask the right questions and turn data into actionable outcomes.
• Commercial awareness: An understanding of how analytics can influence business performance, customer experience and commercial decision-making.
• Stakeholder engagement: The confidence to work with technical and non-technical teams, understand their challenges and translate requirements into effective solutions.
