Role 8: BI Test Analyst (Data Reconciliation)

The Role

We are hiring dedicated BI Test Analysts to execute high-volume, highly granular data validation during critical QA and UAT phases. You will be on the front lines identifying data drift, logic errors, and formatting inconsistencies between legacy and target enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute shadow data loads, extract physical SQL, and perform exact decimal-point numerical and visual comparisons between OBIEE 12c and OAS 2026 outputs.
• Identify ETL data truncation, calculation logic errors, and dashboard formatting drift.
• Log detailed defects with precise reproduction steps, visual screenshots, and SQL variances into Jira.
• Run regression test suites after engineering code drops to confirm defect closure.
• Provide direct, over-the-shoulder functional support to business super-users during UAT.

Required Qualifications & Expertise

• 3+ years of intensive manual and automated testing experience, specific to enterprise BI reporting tools (Oracle, PowerBI, Tableau).
• Strong SQL querying skills required for deep-dive physical data validation against Oracle databases.
• High attention to detail and experience working in strict regulatory financial environments.
• Preferred Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level).
