I'm working with a leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor that is looking to bring an experienced Bid Manager into its Work Winning team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the bidding process and wants to play a key role in securing major UK water and infrastructure projects .

You'll take ownership of bids from start to finish, working closely with technical, operational and senior stakeholders to turn client requirements into high-quality, compelling and commercially focused submissions .

The role

• Lead and manage major bids from opportunity through to submission
• Develop compelling, compliant and value-driven proposals
• Work closely with technical and operational teams to develop winning solutions
• Engage with senior stakeholders and influence key decisions
• Coordinate multiple workstreams, contributors and deadlines
• Help shape the wider Work Winning strategy and approach
• Play a key role in securing major infrastructure projects across the UK

What they're looking for

• Previous Bid Management / Work Winning experience within a Tier 1 contractor
• Strong construction and civil engineering knowledge
• Water sector experience would be highly advantageous
• Experience managing complex, high-value bids
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident working with senior stakeholders
• Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines
• AMPM accreditation at Foundation, Practitioner or Professional level - or a willingness to work towards it

You don't need to tick every single box. If you have strong construction/civil engineering experience and a background in bidding, technical or operational roles, it's worth having a conversation.
