Bidding Assistant

Job Summary

The Bidding Specialist is responsible for identifying, preparing, and managing government bidding opportunities through PhilGEPS. The role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant submission of bid documents while coordinating closely with internal departments to support successful bid participation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor PhilGEPS for new government bidding opportunities relevant to the company
• Review and evaluate bid invitations, terms, and requirements for feasibility and compliance
• Prepare, review, and submit complete bid documents within required deadlines
• Ensure all bid submissions comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Legal, Finance, and Technical for required documents and data
• Track bid submissions, follow up on clarifications, and monitor bid awards
• Maintain an organized database of current and past bids for reporting and reference
• Prepare reports and provide updates to management on bidding activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• Experience in government bidding, procurement, or PhilGEPS transactions is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of government procurement laws and bidding procedures is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and document management
