What they need

About the Role

The Bidding Engineer Technician plays a critical role in developing accurate, competitive, and timely proposals by managing Request for Quotes (RFQs) from review through submission. Working closely with Proposal Coordinators, Program Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams, this position analyzes technical requirements, prepares Bills of Materials (BOMs), estimates labor and material costs, and identifies sourcing solutions to support successful bids. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, and communicates effectively with both internal teams and customers to ensure quote accuracy and completeness.

Key Impact

This role is essential to driving business growth and customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality, compliant proposals that align with customer requirements and company capabilities. The Bidding Engineer Technician supports AS9100 quality standards, conducts bid risk assessments, implements continuous improvement initiatives, and maintains organized documentation to ensure audit readiness and process efficiency. Success in this position requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, procurement, quality, and manufacturing teams to help secure winning opportunities and support successful program execution.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business or engineering-related discipline is preferred. Candidates should possess at least two years of relevant experience, with three to five years in a manufacturing environment preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to analyze complex technical requirements, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and deliver accurate, timely proposals that support company growth and customer success.

Why Join Us?

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, quality-driven organization where your contributions directly influence business growth and customer satisfaction. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, gain exposure to a variety of manufacturing programs and customer requirements, and play a critical role in developing winning proposals that drive organizational success. If you thrive in a detail-oriented environment and enjoy solving complex challenges while working as part of a high-performing team, we encourage you to apply.
