What they need
Roles and Responsibilities :
- 3+ years of experience building and customizing BigCommerce storefronts (custom development)
- Experience with developing microservices using Kotlin , following a Test Driven Development approach
- Hands-on experience with BigCommerce's REST and GraphQL APIs (Catalog, Orders, Customers, Checkout)
- Experience integrating BigCommerce with external systems (ERP, CRM, marketing platforms, payment/shipping providers)
- Solid understanding of ecommerce concepts: cart/checkout flow, product catalog structure, pricing rules, promotions, and order lifecycle
- Familiarity with headless/composable commerce approaches (if using BigCommerce as headless backend)
- Experience with version control (Git) and modern development workflows (CI/CD)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across frontend and backend layers.
