- 3+ years of experience working in a software product development organization building modern and scalable big data applications
- Expertise with functional programming in Scala
- Experience in developing REST-based microservices, preferably with Play as an MVC framework

- Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases, with familiarity with the Cassandra database
