Big Data Operations Engineers

About the role

Provide frontline monitoring and operational support for the big data platform; review and assess alerts in real time, perform initial checks on abnormal tasks, and maintain complete incident records.

Key responsibilities

• Provide frontline monitoring and operational support for the big data platform
• Review and assess alerts in real time
• Perform initial checks on abnormal tasks
• Maintain complete incident records
• Conduct routine operations and maintenance inspections
• Complete shift handovers according to established procedures
• Communicate any incidents encountered during the shift
• Resolve basic operations and maintenance issues
• Collect all relevant information and escalate complex incidents to the China-based L2/L3 technical teams
• Maintain shift logs and incident records as required

Requirements：

1.Understanding of telecommunications operators' business systems and familiarity with big data infrastructure and the Hadoop ecosystem.

2.Familiarity with big data processing workflows.

3.Proficiency in commonly used Linux commands and database operations.

4.Basic networking knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and strong communication and coordination abilities; able to communicate online with the China-based team.

5.Detail-oriented and responsible, with the ability to report incidents promptly.

6.Willing to work rotating shifts, including night shifts.

Proficient in using Claude Code/Codex.
