Bikini Production Assistant

Overview

Izzies Bikinies is a growing custom swimwear brand looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Bikini Production Assistant to join our team. We specialize in creating custom bikinis and take pride in delivering high-quality products that are handmade with care.

This role will work directly with the Head of Bikini Production and assist with the finishing, quality control, packaging, and production of our bikinis. We're looking for someone who has sewing experience, enjoys working with their hands, and is excited about the opportunity to grow with a small business.

As our brand continues to grow, there will be opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the finishing stages of bikini production
• Sew channels on bikini tops and complete finishing sewing as needed
• Use a sewing machine to close openings and ensure clean, professional finishes
• Insert strings and ties into bikini tops and bottoms
• Attach charms and finishing details to bikinis
• Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality standards
• Assist with packaging customer orders
• Prepare completed bikinis for shipment
• Help cut fabric and bikini pieces for production runs
• Safely use a rotary cutter to cut fabric according to patterns
• Use a lighter to seal strings and finishing materials when needed
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient workspace
• Follow production guidelines and quality control procedures
• Work alongside the production team to meet daily and weekly production goals

QualificationsRequired

• Previous sewing experience
• Ability to confidently use a sewing machine
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Comfortable working with small components and delicate fabrics
• Comfortable using a rotary cutter
• Comfortable using a lighter for finishing swimwear components
• Ability to work in a small warehouse environment
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred

• Experience in garment production, swimwear production, or fashion manufacturing
• Experience cutting fabric from patterns
• Experience with quality control and garment inspection
• Experience working in a small business environment
