Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Bilingual Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examinations across various specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and emergency medicine.
• Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and HIPAA regulations.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, including pain management, infectious disease care, and critical care scenarios like ICU and trauma center cases.
• Perform procedures such as IV insertions, suturing, catheterization, phlebotomy, and sterile processing techniques.
• Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; ensure compliance with medical documentation standards.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans.
• Provide patient education on health coaching topics including medication administration, nutrition, wound care, and disease prevention strategies.

Skills

• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language to facilitate effective communication with diverse patient populations.
• Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and record management.
• Strong clinical skills in areas like botulinum toxin treatment, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, spinal tap procedures, and ultrasound sonography.
• Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for accurate billing and documentation; familiarity with Workers' Compensation law is a plus.
• Critical care experience including ICU or Level I Trauma Center settings; adept at triage and acute pain management.
• Proficiency in performing invasive procedures such as venipuncture, tube feeding management, airway management, catheter care, and ventilator support.
• Familiarity with healthcare diagnosis processes across specialties like psychiatry, hospice & palliative medicine, infectious disease care, occupational health, and post-acute care settings.
