Bilingual Dental Assistant, EFDA/EDDA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Bilingual Dental Assistant with EFDA/EDDA certification to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and another language, possess exceptional communication skills, and have a passion for providing quality oral healthcare.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
• EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) or EDDA (Expanded Duty Dental Assistant) certification
• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language
• X-ray certification preferred
• CPR certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and postoperative care
• Perform expanded functions as allowed by state regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Ensure the dental office is clean and well-stocked
• Assist with front office tasks as needed
